An Audience participation mystery. A school talent show hosted by the choir director and the drama teacher leads to fierce competition between several groups of students. The Lunch Ladies and Maintenance Guys are also in the show despite their bitter rivalry. Before the judging is complete one contestant winds up out of contention and the audience gets to help solve the mystery.

Improv Workshop
Lindsay Peters, director for the upcoming ACTORS production of Trouble at the Talent Show, is offering a free workshop on Saturday, April 17 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Ames Public Library. Trouble at the Talent Show requires performers to actively converse with audience members with little given character background information. This workshop will focus on character role play to introduce improvisation tactics and increase character development skills before auditions, April 19-20.
Workshop attendance is not a requirement for auditions, but merely an optional warm-up. All ages welcome to attend the workshop, however auditions will be limited to teenagers and adults due to parts available. No experience required!
