Ruthless is a hilarious musical comedy parody of The Bad Seed, Gypsy, All About Eve, and a host of other shows. It starts when the very talented little Tina doesn't get cast in the school play, Pippi in Tahiti. She's cast as the understudy. But soon the lead meets an unexpected demise and Tina goes on. She's not alone in vying for the spoltlight, though,when her once wimpy mother blossoms into a Broadway performer, and her sleazy agent, Sylvia St. Croix, nurses her own aspirations for stardom.
